Trying to invite a new AWR user, but the email is not being sent. What happens?

Whenever you fail to invite a new user to join the AWR account you are using, make sure you aren't experiencing one of the following roadblocks:

  • Incorrect  / outdated SMTP settings

If you are using the AWR Cloud Whitelabel system, make sure the settings are correct. If the test email cannot be delivered, it means that no other invitations / report emails are being sent either. 

Update the SMTP settings and test the configuration. If the ping test is successful, then the user invitations arrive at their recipients. 

  • User email already exists in AWR user base

Any email who is not part of the Advanced Web Ranking user base (as owner / subsidiary user in a different account) can be invited to join.
