Is AWR compliant with GDPR?
Advanced Web Ranking is committed to being GDPR-compliant by May 25th, 2018.
We are supporting the data protection and privacy for all individuals, in accordance to the latest EU GDPR legislation, when it comes to controlling, handling and processing personally identifiable information.

Which kind of personal data does AWR store?
Depending on how you interact with Advanced Web Ranking, the following data is collected:
Visiting Website Pages (via browser): browser/user agent, device type and OS, referrer URL, anonymized IP address and website navigation information.
All this data is collected and processed anonymously, without matching it to specific individuals or merging it with data from external tools.
The information is processed internally by Caphyon, with the main purpose of delivering the Service effectively, as well as for generating internal usage-level statistics, UX oriented.

Is the data that AWR store privacy sensitive?
No. As described under GDPR Article 9, Advanced Web Ranking does not collect or process any data which may be classified under "Sensitive Information".
Is my data secure?
AWR Cloud is fully committed to the security of your private information. To prevent unauthorized access, the application grants access to the account owner and users via user and password, and all pages within the account are served through a HTTPS protocol.
According to our privacy policy, we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless required by law.
When the account owner adds multiple users to the same Cloud account, he has full control over the data they access and manage. Admins have full access on all projects, but they are unable to handle or see the billing information or anything related to the owner's invoices.
Does AWR provide core subject data - rankings - from an existing database?
No. Every search engine query we are sending to collect the ranking data is unique and it is not collected from a third party provider, nor stored to a proprietary database.
The AWR ranking data is collected and delivered considering the updating preferences set by user.
Where is AWR company headquarters located?
Caphyon, the company producing the Advanced Web Ranking software is located in European Union, Romania.
Are the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy aligned to the GDPR legal regulations?
Yes. Both our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been updated to meet the latest GDPR laws and regulations.
What happens with my personal and account data after I cancel my AWR account?
You can choose to temporarily archive the AWR account user and historical ranking data, for a possible easy restore in the future, if you decide to resume subscription activity.
If not, all account and user data will be permanently deleted within 6 months after the subscription paid time ends, according to our Privacy Policy "Data Security".
